    Caring Companions has an immediate opening for a caring and compassionate individual to join our team as Personal Care Provider in the East Hartford, CT area. This position is for a Female Client that is currently bed bound. This client broker her knee cap. As a Personal Care Provider, you'll provide non-medical personal care and household services. Your duties will consist of changing her diaper (no lifting required, simply turning her in the bed) household chores, personal hygiene including bed baths, applying lotion, as well as providing companionship to ensure our client's spaces are clean, safe, and organized.

    Excellent Schedule! This client needs care Tuesday through Thursday, 9am to 6pm. Weekends off!!! Hourly Rate is Depending on Experience.

    Qualifications:

    Valid driver's license or state ID

    Must have own transportation & valid insurance

    Completion of a twenty-hour training program or six months of personal care experience in a home care setting preferred

    Physical Requirements:

    Able to stand, kneel, bend at knees, and squat throughout the day

    Ability to safely assist clients in and out of a vehicle and safely lift a wheelchair or walker weighing up to 50lbs into and out of a vehicle

    Physical ability to lift and transfer clients

    Use arms, legs, feet, hands, and fingers to assist clients with performing tasks of daily living

    Frequently move the whole body to perform tasks such as lifting, light housekeeping, walking, and driving

    Sitting for long periods of time

    Ability to see and hear well (naturally or with correction)
