Job Summary
We are seeking a Documentation Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will make a difference in the lives of seniors and become a member of a dynamic team. Responsibilities include processing documents for patient charts and faxing and/or emailing documents to physician offices, hospitals and/or skilled nursing facilities. The ideal candidate will possess superior customer service skills, able to multi task, and possess computer literacy.
Responsibilities
Transmitting discharge summaries via fax or electronically.
Communicating with case managers regarding patient status.
Working with clinicians to ensure timely and accurate submission of documents.
Processing documents submitted by clinicians.
Obtaining medical records from medical facilities and providers.
Working as team player.
Any other task delegated by the Team.
Qualifications
Office experience in the medical field a plus.
Customer Service skills
Knowledge of HIPPA.
Computer Literacy
Attention to Detail.
Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills
Compassionate, Respectful and Ethical
Ability to Work Independently
