    Position Overview

    We are seeking a skilled and dependable CNC Lathe Operator to join a precision manufacturing team. This role is responsible for operating CNC lathes to produce high-quality, precision-machined components that meet strict quality and production standards. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with tight tolerances.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Operate CNC lathe machines to produce parts according to specifications and blueprints
    • Load raw materials and unload finished components
    • Monitor machine operations and make minor adjustments as needed
    • Perform routine quality checks using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
    • Ensure parts meet tight tolerances and customer requirements
    • Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and CNC programs
    • Maintain a clean and organized work area
    • Follow all safety procedures and company policies
    • Communicate with supervisors and team members to support production goals

    Qualifications

    • 1+ year of CNC machining or manufacturing experience preferred (lathe experience strongly preferred)
    • Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools
    • Basic understanding of G-code and CNC controls is a plus
    • Strong attention to detail and quality
    • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
    • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

    Preferred Skills

    • Experience with CNC lathes or turning centers
    • Familiarity with tight-tolerance machining
    • Ability to troubleshoot minor machine issues

    Work Environment

    • Manufacturing / machine shop setting
    • Exposure to machinery, noise, and metal materials
    • Fast-paced, production-driven environment
