Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator with experience in woodworking applications. This role is responsible for operating, programming, and maintaining CNC machinery to produce high-quality custom wood components.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC machines to cut, shape, and fabricate wood components.

Read and interpret shop drawings, CAD files and specifications to ensure accuracy.

Set up machines, load materials, and monitor production runs.

Perform basic CNC programming and adjustments as needed.

Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment.

Monitor machine operations and inspect finished products to ensure accuracy and maintain quality control standards.

Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes.

Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times in the workshop.

Maintain equipment and troubleshoot minor issues.

Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

Experience operating CNC machines in a woodworking environment

Familiarity with CAD software (preferred)

Strong attention to detail and precision

Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints

Basic understanding of woodworking materials and processes

Strong problem-solving skills and work ethic

Requirements:

Technical training in CNC operation preferred.

Strong understanding of woodworking materials and techniques preferred.

Experience with cabinet or millwork production is a plus.

Ability to lift materials and work in a shop environment.

Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and precision.

Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.

Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
