CNC Machinist

Company: Aerospace manufacturer of cable assemblies, wire harnesses, and electromechanical products.

Position Summary: Provide machine shop support to the production team by operating CNC Haas mills and lathes as well as manual mills, lathes, and grinders to produce parts, fixtures, and molds. Work closely with Engineering to support mechanical and molding operations across manufacturing departments. Must read and follow work instructions and mechanical drawings.

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED (trade school or apprenticeship preferred)

2+ years operating CNC mills & lathes and manual machines

2+ years experience with Haas controls

Ability to monitor machining processes and inspect parts to spec

Hands-on use of measuring tools including calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, torque wrenches, and similar instruments

Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings

Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn

Self-motivated with ability to work independently
