    We are seeking a skilled, dependable, and safety-focused Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating manual and CNC machine tools and producing high-quality metal components to exact specifications. Experience with MIG, TIG, or Stick welding is a plus.

    Responsibilities

    Set up and operate manual and CNC lathes, mills, drill presses, and other machining equipment.

    Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, specifications, and work orders.

    Fabricate, repair, and modify metal parts and equipment.

    Select appropriate tools, materials, speeds, feeds, and machining processes.

    Measure and inspect completed work using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision instruments.

    Perform MIG, TIG, or Stick welding on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum when needed.

    Troubleshoot mechanical and production issues and recommend repairs or process improvements.

    Maintain machining and welding equipment in safe operating condition.

    Follow company safety procedures and applicable OSHA requirements.

    Keep the work area clean, organized, and production-ready.

    Work independently and collaboratively to meet quality standards and production deadlines.

    Qualifications

    Previous professional experience as a machinist is required.

    Experience setting up and operating manual and/or CNC machine tools.

    Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings.

    Proficiency with precision measuring and inspection equipment.

    Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

    Ability to consistently produce accurate work within specified tolerances.

    MIG, TIG, or Stick welding experience is preferred but not required.

    Experience working with steel, stainless steel, and aluminum is a plus.

    Strong commitment to workplace safety, quality, and reliability.

    Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift and handle materials as required.
