Title: CNC Machinist - Lathe

Shift: 1st shift, Monday - Friday (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM)

Salary: $35 - $40/hr, dependent on experience

CNC Machinist - Lathe Role:

Our client is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to operate and program turning lathes, ensuring the production of high-quality parts. This role is crucial for maintaining efficient manufacturing operations and contributing to the overall productivity of the shop floor.

CNC Machinist - Lathe Responsibilities:

• Operate Haas-ST40 and ST30 turning lathes

• Program machinery using MasterCam

• Perform tool and die adjustments and maintenance

• Utilize live tooling for various operations

• Execute turning, drilling, and tapping processes

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

• Adhere to all safety protocols

CNC Machinist - Lathe Reporting Relationships:

This position reports to the Production Supervisor.

About You:

• Proficiently operate CNC turning lathes

• Possess strong MasterCam programming skills; writing programs from scratch

• Have experience with tool and die work

• Utilize live tooling effectively

• Demonstrate expertise in turning, drilling, and tapping

• Work independently with minimal supervision

• Maintain a strong attention to detail
