Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machines to produce parts according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
- Performs highly diversified machining operations such as boring, turning, facing, reaming, grinding, milling, and tapping. Performs work on machined parts, forgings and casting which are of varying degrees of complexity and critically dimensioned.
- Determines and maintains the proper operational sequences and make all necessary mathematical calculations to complete thejob

- Checks own work. Usually working to tolerances of +/- .010" and +/- .0005".
- Bench work includes any necessary operations such as filing, de-burring, grinding, lapping, indexing, scraping, and fitting in order to complete mechanical assemblies from blueprints, crude sketches, verbal instructions, or work samples.
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to ensure quality standards are met.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance productivity.
- Document production data and maintain accurate records of work performed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining preferred.
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical documents and blueprints.
- Strong understanding of CNC programming and machining processes.
- Ability to operate various CNC machines and tools safely and effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- 2+ years Mastercam experience required
- 5+ years' experience in machining operations

- G-Code
- M-Code
Machines & technologies you'll use:
- CNC Mill (3-4 axis VMC) (Mazak, Makino, Hurco, Dmg Mori Seiki, Fanuc)
- CNC Lathe (2-4 axis) (Mazak)
Salary info:
$25 - $35 / hr
