Compensation: $35-$45 per hour

The Opportunity
We’re hiring a detail-oriented CNC Machinist Programmer to support high-spec production needs on a flexible part-time basis. You’ll program, set up, and operate CNC mills and lathes to manufacture precision components for a wide range of industrial applications. If you enjoy solving technical challenges, maintaining top-quality standards, and working independently—this is your chance to take ownership of a key production role with schedule flexibility.
What You’ll Do
Programming + Operation
Program and operate CNC machines (mills/lathes) using MasterCam for Haas and Fanuc controls
Adjust machine settings to ensure dimensional accuracy and production efficiency
Select tools and determine optimal machining paths from blueprints and GD&T specs
Modify speeds, feeds, and cutting styles based on part geometry and materials
Inspection + Maintenance
Conduct first-article and in-process inspections using precision tools: micrometers, calipers, CMM, etc.
Perform regular machine maintenance (cleaning, lubrication, part replacement)
Troubleshoot programming and equipment issues with engineering and leadership teams
Production + Assembly Support
Assemble machined components according to blueprint specifications
Collaborate with supervisors to meet deadlines and maintain output quality
Follow safety protocols and contribute to a clean, organized work area
You’d Be a Great Fit If You Have:
8+ years’ experience operating CNC mills and lathes
5+ years programming with Haas/Fanuc controls and MasterCam
Comfort reading complex blueprints and working with GD&T
Familiarity with shop instrumentation: micrometers, height gauges, CMM, etc.
Strong mechanical aptitude and independent problem-solving skills
Ability to lift 60 lbs., stand for extended periods, and wear required PPE
Detail orientation and pride in craftsmanship
