Job Overview :
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machining and be proficient in operating CNC machines to produce high-quality parts and components.
This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties :
- Set up and operate CNC machines, ensuring precision and quality in all produced parts.
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications to determine machining processes.
- Utilize CAM programming software to create and modify machine programs.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise during production.
- Employ precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to verify part dimensions.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize machining processes and improve product designs using SolidWorks.
- Apply GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) standards in the interpretation of engineering drawings.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols.

- Create and optimize CNC programs for efficiency, accuracy, and tooling utilization
- Collecting and analyzing data on tool performance and usage to identify areas for improvement
- Create and modify PLC programs for production machines and facility equipment
- Interpret technical blueprints and AutoCAD drawings and set up machines according to engineering specifications
- Adjust machine settings to handle potential problems during operations
- Collaborate with other team members to optimize production efficiency

Qualifications :
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist with a strong understanding of machining processes.
- Proficiency in CAM programming; experience with Fanuc controls is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing practices is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Experience using precision measuring instruments including micrometers, calipers, and CMMs.
- Knowledge of GD&T principles is a plus.
- Basic welding skills are advantageous but not required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
