****Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled, self-motivated Machinist to join a well-established, employee-focused precision manufacturing company. This is an excellent opportunity for a craftsman who takes pride in producing complex, high-quality parts from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently perform complex machining operations with a strong focus on accuracy and efficiency
• Interpret CAD files, engineering drawings, sketches, and sample parts to plan machining strategies and tolerances
• Design and fabricate custom fixtures for machining raw materials, castings, and components
• Set up and operate CNC and manual equipment including mills, lathes, grinders, and EDMs
• Select and install appropriate tooling, fixtures, and materials for each job
• Calculate and optimize machining parameters such as speeds, feeds, depth of cut, and coolant flow
• Program CNC tool paths to achieve high-quality results and maximize efficiency
• Monitor machining processes to reduce scrap, rework, and downtime
• Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet all engineering specifications and tight tolerances
• Collaborate with engineering to identify design or manufacturing challenges and recommend practical solutions
• Accurately document production activity within the work order system
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment while following all quality standards

Requirements

• Proven reliability with strong attendance and punctuality
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, CAD models, and technical drawings
• Experience with CNC programming and setup (multi-axis experience preferred)
• Solid understanding of machining principles, tooling, fixturing, and materials
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
• Willingness to work overtime when needed
