  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    Previous experience repairing CNC machines is needed.

    • Complete preventative maintenance on all facility equipment to include CNC lathes and mills, manual lathes and mills, and other facility equipment.
    • Analyzes machine problems by using troubleshooting techniques, repair manuals, drawings or manufacturers’ specifications to determine logical approach to correct the problem.
    • Disassembles machines to find & replace worn or damaged parts and reassembles.
    • Utilizes measuring instruments such as micrometer, caliper, dial indicator and precision level will be required.
    • Relocates, installs, and aligns machines and equipment.
    • Coordinate and schedule third party vendors for repairs and maintenance as needed.
    • Perform duties in accordance with company safety policies.
    • Additional duties as assigned.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent required

    • Previous experience as a CNC machinist is preferred

    • Experience repairing Mazak and Haas equipment is a plus

    • Minimum of 3 years of previous related or subordinate experience

    • Vocational/Technical Certification preferred

    • Ability to read and interpret average assembly and machine drawings

    • Ability to obtain a certification to drive power industrial vehicles (forklift & scissors lift)

    • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills

    • Ability to effectively communicate

    • High level of analytical ability

    • Ability to work in a diverse environment

    • Complete all work in a safe manner and follow all safety requirements consistent with supporting the Company’s goals.

    • Lifting guidelines in accordance with the Manual Lifting Guidelines noted in the Safety Handbook.

    • Follow all environmental requirements consistent with supporting the company’s environmental performance goals.

    • Complete, and actively participate in all other EHS training requirements.
