    Emerge is currently recruiting qualified candidates for a direct hire 3rd shift CNC Mill Machinist job in Cleveland, OH, for our client, a growing manufacturer of precision

    aerospace parts. Candidates should have three (3) or more years of experience setting up CNC mills, working with various metals, using inspection tools, handling tooling, and troubleshooting. Our client offers an hourly pay rate of $23.00 to $30.00 depending on experience, plus a 20% shift differential for 3rd shift, and excellent benefits starting on day one. These positions currently offer a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

    • Responsibilities for the 3rd shift CNC Machinist job in Cleveland, OH, include:
    • Setting up material on CNC mills
    • Using downloader software to stage and distribute programs
    • Selecting, pre-setting, and installing tooling into machine registers Monitoring machines for any issues as they run programs
    • Keeping machines clean and clear of chips and debris
    • Collaborating with CNC Programming and Inspection teams to solve problems that arise Creating and maintaining required job documentation, including time logs
    • Meeting deadlines for scheduled deliverables

     

    Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent; vocational or trade school preferred
    • Three (3) or more years of experience setting up and running CNC mills, with experience machining various metals Knowledge of speeds, feeds, step-downs, and cutting tools
    • Experience with Fanuc controls is a plus!
    • Familiarity with precision measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, etc.
    • This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), which requires U.S. person status (U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident [Green Card Holder], Political Asylee, or Refugee). Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
