****Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented CNC Operator to set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines in a manufacturing environment. This position is for 3r d shift , but the selected candidate will train on 1st shift before moving to their regular schedule. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, good problem-solving skills, and the ability to produce high-quality parts consistently.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machines according to work orders, prints, and specifications
- Load raw materials, perform machine offsets, and adjust tooling as needed
- Monitor machine performance and product quality throughout the production run
- Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools
- Maintain accurate documentation for production, inspections, and machine adjustments
- Perform basic machine maintenance and keep work area clean and organized
- Troubleshoot minor issues and notify supervisors or maintenance when needed
- Follow all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements
- Work collaboratively with leads and team members to ensure efficient production flow
Requirements
- Previous CNC operating experience preferred, but willing to train motivated candidates
- Ability to read blueprints, work instructions, and measurement tools
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 40–50 lbs as required
- Basic math skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Reliable attendance and willingness to train on 1st shift before transitioning to 3rd
