About the Role:

Join our dynamic team at Steel and Metal Service Center as a CNC Operator for our state-of-the-art Peddinghause Plate Processor. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced technology in a thriving environment, where your skills will contribute to our commitment to quality and precision.

Responsibilities:

Set up and operate the Peddinghause Plate Processor to meet production specifications.

Monitor machine performance and adjust settings for optimal output and quality.

Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machinery.

Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication.

Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with safety regulations.

Document production processes and report any discrepancies to management.

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in CNC operations preferred.

2+ years of experience operating CNC machinery, specifically Peddinghause equipment.

Strong understanding of G-code programming and CNC machining principles.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Familiarity with safety standards and practices in a manufacturing environment.

Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills and technologies.
