    To help us drive excellence, you’ll get to:

    · Understanding and use of computers

    · Reading blueprints to determine dimensions and tolerance specifications

    · Transfer or translate CAD Data from die designs for use in programming software

    · Perform 2D and 3D programming using CAD/CAM software

    · Perform surfacing including surface run-off for 3D tool path

    · Creation of 2D prints and/or CNC machining set-up sheets.

    · Organize and distribute CAM data and programs for CNC machining

    · Transfer and translation of CAD/CAM data for shipping to external sources for machining

    · Confers with other associates in the Manufacturing department to effectively machine details

    · Promotes teamwork and shows a willingness to work with other departments

    · Takes initiative to find solutions quickly to problems that arise

    · Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

    · Excellent attendance and safety record

    · Willing to work company’s work schedule

    · Demonstrate self-motivation to continuously improve their job duties and tasks.

    This full-time role is a part of our Machine Shop Team and will be reporting to the Engineering Manager.

    Required education & experience:

    Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or three to four years related experience and/or training; or one to four years related experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

    REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES

    • Mastercam software specific knowledge.

    • * Extensive knowledge of 2D/3D.
      
    • Extensive machining background or knowledge of machining.

    • Cadkey or AutoCad specific knowledge.

    o Extensive knowledge of surfacing and surface run-off using customer provided math data and designs.

    o Ability to import math data from Cadkey and AutoCad software.

    • FMEA knowledge.

    o Basic understanding of process.

    • GD&T knowledge.

    o A working knowledge of the ASME Y14.5m standards.

    o the ability to apply the ASME Y14.5m standards to drawings.

    Preferred Additional Skills & Abilities:

    · Good working skills with Microsoft Office software
