    Pay: $30–$40 per hour (DOE)

    Position Overview

    We are seeking a skilled CNC Manufacturing Programmer / Setup Machinist to support precision machining and production operations. This hands-on role combines CNC programming, machine setup, and production machining with occasional CAD support and process improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong shop background, programming experience, and the ability to troubleshoot and optimize manufacturing processes.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Program, set up, and operate CNC mills, lathes, and other machining equipment
    • Create and optimize CNC programs to improve efficiency, quality, and production output
    • Perform machine setups, tooling selection, and first-piece inspections
    • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications
    • Support prototype development, new product introductions, and manufacturing improvements
    • Assist with SolidWorks-based part modifications and design support as needed
    • Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and production issues
    • Perform manual machining operations when required
    • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to meet project deadlines
    • Maintain accurate documentation and support continuous improvement initiatives

    Qualifications

    • CNC programming experience required
    • Strong CNC setup and machining experience required
    • SolidWorks experience required
    • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
    • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
    • Hands-on manufacturing and machine shop background preferred
    • Experience working in a production environment

    Preferred Experience

    • Haas CNC mills and lathes
    • Omax waterjet equipment
    • Bystronic press brake systems
    • CAMWorks or similar CAM software
    • Prototype and low-to-medium volume production environments

    Skills
