We are looking for a CNC Router Operator in Newington NH. This role involves operating our CNC router to produce precise sign components, as well as coordinating job flow and participating in project planning. The ideal candidate will be a hard worker with a positive attitude, a strong team player mentality, and a willingness to learn and grow within our company. Working in our production shop entails working with hand tools, saws, paints, as well, and requires detailed finishing work. While prior CNC router operation experience is essential, we are willing to provide training on other aspects of the role for the right individual.

Pay- $23-28 an hour

Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently operate the CNC router to cut various sign materials (e.g., wood, acrylic, aluminum, HDU) according to project specifications.
• Load and unload materials onto the router bed.
• Set up and adjust router bits and tooling as needed.
• Monitor the cutting process to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Perform routine maintenance on the CNC router.
• Coordinate job flow through the shop, ensuring timely completion of router-related tasks.
• Review project plans, drawings, and specifications to understand router requirements.
• Communicate effectively with other team members (fabricators, painters, installers) to ensure smooth project execution.
• Assist in project planning by providing input on material usage, cutting strategies, and timelines.
• Maintain an organized and clean work area around the CNC router.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies.
• Be willing to learn and assist with other shop tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience operating a CNC router in a production environment.
• Strong understanding of CNC router operation, tooling.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues.
• Positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Self-motivated.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Willingness to learn new skills and take on new responsibilities.
• Ability to lift and maneuver materials weighing up to 50 lbs safely and repeatedly.
• Experience in the sign industry is a plus but not required.
