Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC milling and or CNC turning machines according to detailed set up instructions and monitor the machine operation to ensure all quality standards are being met.
- Knowledge of horizontal, vertical and multi-axis machining concepts.
- Familiarity with the following machine controls; Fanuc, Okuma, Mitsubishi, Haas and Trak.
- Ability to make the necessary code adjustments to develop a compliant part.
- Perform in-process inspections, deburr and clean parts in cycle.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine machining requirements.
- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance productivity.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in CNC machining preferred but not required.
- 3-5 years minimum experience preferred.
- Understanding of CNC programming and machining processes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to perform hand work details such as deburring and post machining details.
Familiarity with safety standards and practices in a manufacturing setting.
