Currently looking for a CNC Torsion, Compression and Extension Spring Maker to fill a first shift direct hire opening with a global company in Chicago, IL.

Responsibilities of the CNC Torsion, Compression and Extension Spring Maker

• Be responsible to facilitate the set-up and operation of spring making with CNC Spring Making Machinery for such brands as Wafios, KCMCO, AIM, NuCoil and other brands.
• Determine setup, tooling and process sequences.
• Complete set-up sheets as needed.
• Offer input regarding cycle time reduction strategies.
• Monitor spring making machinery operation.
• Be responsible for traditional machine maintenance such as oil and lubrication if needed.
• This is a first shift position.

Requirements of the CNC Torsion, Compression and Extension Spring Maker

• High School Diploma
• At least entry level set-up and spring machinery of any type of spring is required

Compensation of the CNC Torsion, Compression and Extension Spring Maker

The targeted hourly base salary for this first shift position ranges from $28.00 to $42.00 per hour depending on experience.
