CNC Machinist

Cincinnati, OH 45251
Pay: $22–$29/hr+

1st Shift: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM
3rd Shift: Monday–Thursday, 7:30 PM–6:00 AM

What You'll Do

• Set up, adjust, and operate CNC and other machine tools
• Machine parts to precise specifications using lathes, mills, grinders, and other equipment
• Select the proper tools, materials, fixtures, and machine settings for each job
• Program and set up machines to produce first-article parts
• Monitor machine feeds, speeds, and production runs
• Inspect parts using precision measuring equipment and make adjustments as needed
• Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary corrections
• Maintain production and run-time standards
• Perform basic preventive maintenance on machines and tooling
• Consistently produce accurate, quality parts

What We're Looking For

• 1–2+ years of machining experience
• Ability to read and understand blueprints
• Understanding of fabrication processes
• Familiarity with welding diagrams and symbols
• Comfortable using measuring tools and basic shop math
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve machining problems
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Welding certifications are a plus, but not required

Physical & Work Environment

• Primarily an indoor manufacturing environment
• Regular standing, sitting, bending, twisting, and use of hands and fingers
• Must be able to occasionally lift 35–50 lbs.
• May occasionally need to move heavier materials using equipment
• Exposure to industrial noise, heat, chemicals, oils, greases, and cleaning solvents
• Safety glasses are required, with gloves and safety shoes required as appropriate
