CNE Developer
A leading organization in the national security sector is seeking a highly skilled cybersecurity engineer with strong expertise in Windows kernel internals and offensive security techniques. This role focuses on vulnerability research and the development of advanced exploitation capabilities in support of critical cyber mission objectives.
You will collaborate with an experienced technical team to address complex challenges involving operating system internals, reverse engineering, and low-level software analysis.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct research and analysis focused on Windows kernel vulnerabilities
Develop, implement, and validate exploitation techniques and supporting tools
Perform reverse engineering on software, operating systems, and embedded components
Troubleshoot and analyze system behavior at both the operating system and network layers
Work closely with technical teams involved in cyber research, engineering, and operational support
Required Qualifications
Active TS/SCI clearance
Demonstrated experience working with Windows kernel internals and low-level system security
Strong programming skills in C, C++, and Python
Proven background in reverse engineering and identifying software vulnerabilities
Solid understanding of network communications, including TCP/IP and socket programming
Experience using advanced debugging tools such as WinDbg, GDB, or equivalent
Familiarity with embedded platforms or low-level hardware/software interfaces
