Responsibilities: • Managing the caseload from intake through processing and filing. • Assist clients in filling out forms and gathering necessary documents. • Assisting with the preparation of briefs, motions, immigration forms. • Keeping clients updated on the progress of their cases. • Entering data into an immigration case management system. • Responding to immigration inquiries in a timely manner and adhering to submission deadlines. • Conduct research and analyze data and documents. Qualifications: • Bachelor's Degree or post-secondary program with law-related coursework or State-approved accredited paralegal certification. • Computer literate. • Detail-oriented. • Must be familiar with USCIS and EOIR applications and Immigration Court Procedures. • Efficiently manage assigned case load. • 1+ years of law-related work experience under the supervision of a licensed attorney. • Exceptional recordkeeping and communication skills. • Able to keep track of case files and deadlines. • Discreet and resourceful team worker. • Exceptional teamwork ethics and disposition to communicate with other team members in a cordial manner. • Reliable, trustworthy and ability to maintain strict confidentiality. • Not a remote working position. Compensation: $20 - $25 hourly
