    Position Overview

    Join our team as a (PASRR) Preadmission Screening and Resident Review Clinical Evaluator and be an instrumental force in reshaping healthcare and enriching the lives of patients in our communities.

    As a Clinical Evaluator for Preadmission Screening and Resident Review (PASRR), you will conduct clinical assessments of individuals experiencing physical or intellectual disabilities, mental illness, or those within the geriatric population. These assessments often take place in a variety of settings, including nursing homes, communities, and hospitals within Long Beach, CA. As a trusted expert, you will have the autonomy to evaluate their care needs and provide invaluable determinations and recommendations for their ongoing level of care, helping to improve patient's well-being and enhance their quality of life.

    This is a Full-Time - Hybrid role that will entail working from your home office while also dedicating a portion of your day to fieldwork, involving travel to patients within your surrounding counties and in proximity to your residence. Must be open to covering the Long Beach area. All required travel expenses, including mileage and gas, will be fully reimbursed. Embracing this hybrid position offers the best of both worlds.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, including pre-admission screenings and evaluations, to determine the precise level of support and care needed by patients.
    • Leverage your clinical expertise to make accurate diagnoses, taking into account psychological and behavioral complexities.
    • Analyze psychological, emotional, behavioral, and physical functioning to formulate well-founded recommendations for the level of care required.
    • Ensure strict adherence to essential workflows, including revisiting patient records based on feedback from the doctors and psychiatrist.
    • Foster effective collaboration with a diverse range of healthcare professionals, patients, families, and support networks.
    • Efficiently prioritize and execute tasks with attention to detail, ensuring optimal outcomes.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Required Qualifications, Skills, Knowledge and Experience

    • Must have active unrestricted licensure in the state of California: (LCSW), (LMFT), (LPCC), or (Licensed Psychologist).
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in clinical evaluations, assessing and diagnosing individuals with mental/psychiatric disorders, intellectual disabilities or related conditions. This includes handling complex differential diagnoses related to substance use, medical conditions, cognitive issues, and dementia,
    • Strong communication skills, with a demonstrated capacity to clearly and effectively communicate information to both individuals and groups.
    • Exhibit advanced proficiency in utilizing PCs/Computers and Microsoft Office Suites, along with the ability to adeptly navigate through internal software applications, medical databases, manage multiple screens, and conduct data entry efficiently.
    • Possess high levels of motivation and organization, with a keen attention to detail, and the capability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
    • Prior experience working with geriatric populations is preffered.
