JOB DESCRIPTION: Traveling Survey Technician
Coast 2 Coast AutoCAD Survey Technicians document and compile comprehensive site survey data for nationwide as-built architectural projects. All trips are paid for by Coast 2 Coast along with providing per-diem for food. This unique travel-centric opportunity allows you to spend multiple weeks at a location, then enjoy time off at home before your next project(s). KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Capture Architectural Data on Location:
· Travel to various parts of the US and beyond and collect survey data on site
· Document property conditions in 2D, and 3D floor plans and elevations using AutoCAD, and Revit
· Collaborate with the processing team to ensure scope alignment and project quality
· Provide updates and communicate with project managers and survey teams during the project lifecycle
Construct Project Deliverables:
· Support clients as they remodel or acquire new properties by capturing existing site conditions in alignment with client guidelines and scope of work
· Responsibly use a variety of measurement tools, 3D terrestrial laser scanners, laptops, cameras, as well as smartphones and iPads
· Assist with a wide variety of projects by adapting to new scopes, standards, and software. Participate in the Coast 2 Coast learning culture by obtaining skills offered through mentorship and online courses
REQUIREMENTS
· Must possess strong verbal/written communication skills, the ability to produce work independently, and effectively coordinate with team members
· Proactive and organized, the candidate effectively manages multiple concurrent projects while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and meeting deadlines (including taking advantage of overtime opportunities)
· Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver's license and live in the vicinity of a major airport to facilitate travel
· Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screening, as well as random screening during employment
