Come and collaborate with Coding Dojo’s Learning Science, Instruction, Curriculum, Technology, and Business Intelligence teams to implement instructional design across our programs!

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with Subject Matter Experts to design learning materials, learning activities, and assessments for both online and onsite programs
• Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to build those materials, activities, and assessments in the LMS
• Support the curriculum team with version control and content management
• Influence instructional and curriculum staff through research-based best practices
• Edit and maintain online learning material and content
• Support Learning Science in assessing learning needs and student learning data
• Manage version control of LMS content
• Troubleshoot technical problems via reported user issues
• Support in the development of new programs
• Maintain currency in the field of online learning

CORE COMPETENCIES

• Proficiency with Canvas, Moodle or proprietary LMS
• Comfortable working with HTML and CSS
• Experience working in a start-up environment
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Understanding of varied learning styles a must
• Knowledge of assessment and evaluation methods
• Familiarity with competency-based learning models
• Familiarity with proficiency-based assessment modeling
• Familiarity with edtech tools for content creation
• Fluent in English (Spanish or Arabic a plus)

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• 3-5 years of experience in a data-driven position (e.g. Instructional Designer, Department Chair)
• Must have reliable internet and equipment to perform all job duties
