Cogency Global is growing and excited to announce we are recruiting for an Account Executive – Lending (Field AE. This person will join the Eastern team and will report to our Regional Sales Director. This Account Executive will initiate new client relationships, as well as maintain and expand existing client accounts in our Eastern region territory. To be successful, the AE will develop a deep knowledge of our transactional product lines, along with a general knowledge of our due diligence services. Cogency’s Financial Account Executives are physically active in the field and build long-lasting buyer relationships via face-to-face sales efforts, so flexibility to travel will be required.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to target lenders and financial institutions, including banks, credit unions, and mortgage companies.
• Experience with SBA lending is a plus
• Maximize revenue growth by achieving & exceeding sales quotas
• Generate and follow up on leads, researching and qualifying prospective customers and buyers
• Strategically schedule in-person meetings and travel within your territory

· Utilize CRM software to track sales activities, manage leads, and generate accurate sales forecasts and reports for management.

• Provide online and in-person product demonstrations
• Participate in trade shows, seminars and other sales and marketing led events
• Provide clear and effective written proposals for current and prospective customers
• Develop and coordinate budgetary needs with your Regional Sales Director

· Strong understanding of the lending industry, including mortgage lending, consumer lending, commercial lending, SBA lending and loan origination processes.

• Strong written, verbal and presentation skills
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as Salesforce or a similar CRM

· Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events and conferences.
