Job Summary

We are seeking an Attorney to join our fast paced, general practice law firm. In this role, you will provide legal counsel, perform legal research, draft documents, and update and maintain files. You will work closely with administrative staff, other colleagues, and senior partners to provide excellent legal services to our clients. Responsibilities

Commercial and Residential Closings

Drafting and Negotiating of complex documents relating to real estate transactions, commercial leases and financing.

Knowledge of land use, corporate organizations, zoning and environmental law is also desirable

Prepare contracts, briefs, motions, and other legal documents

Conduct legal research

Prepare for and attend legal proceedings

Provide legal counsel in conjunction with senior associates

Maintain detailed and accurate client records

Qualifications

Connecticut Bar Admission (Required)

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills

Ability to collaborate with colleagues to best serve clients
