Job Summary

We are looking for a Direct support professional to join our team! You will be directly working with patients, following a person center planning care plan in homes. Collier Care staff operate with a big heart, not only providing personalized and attentive care, but by building genuine relationships with those you serve. Collier Care staff are detail-oriented, highly organized, and committed to creating a healthy environment that meets individual's needs. Strong verbal and written communication skills are needed to succeed in this role as a dsp.

All locations are located in Canton and Perry area. 2 Full-time 7a-3p 2 Full-time 3p-11p driver licenses preferred. 2 part-time 3p-11p

Responsibilities

Assist with individual with daily personal tasks, including bathing and dressing

Completing housekeeping tasks such as vacuuming, washing dishes and tidying

Helping plan individuals' appointments and organize a schedule

Organizing with transportation arrangements to appointments

Shopping for groceries and preparing for meals that meet individual needs

Encouraging individuals engagement in social networks and community integration

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED

One-year prior professional experience

Driver’s license required

CPR certification required

Medication certification
