  • Responsibilities

    GENERAL SUMMARY

    Responsible for development and implementation of RMF/IA controls in secure operating systems, networks, and database products.

    PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (*ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)

    • Independently review security artifacts provided by program offices and other organizations and assess both the technical and functional adequacy of the cybersecurity/information assurance controls.
    • Support the design and implementation of system security architectures, Program Protection Plan, Cyber Security Strategy, test procedures and reporting and artifacts of the eMASS developed package, etc.
    • Support IPT meetings, TIMs, and Security control Assessor Validator (SCA-V) cybersecurity assessments
    • Develops security policies and procedures.*
    • Provides technical expertise and guidance to more junior team members.*

    Required Skills Required Experience

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent; advanced degree preferred.
    • Minimum of 10 plus years of work related experience.
    • Minimum of 3 related certifications may be used in place of related academic
    • Active IAM Level II/III certification required.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • RMF experience supporting DoD entities
    • US Citizenship Required ; Minimum of DoD Secret Clearance
    • Experience with entering data into eMASS and the management of CAC and PAC.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Active CISSP or CISM Certification
    • Active DoD TS/SCI clearance
