  • Responsibilities

    Wilson & Company is looking for CADD interns to join our Albuquerque office.  As an Intern in our office:

    • You will perform hands-on work to apply your classroom experience to real-world projects and help you envision your future career.
    • You’ll be an active member of our design team, working for our clients on projects with our most experienced designers and engineers.
    • You’ll be introduced to Wilson & Company’s culture, helping you evaluate our firm as a future career choice.
    • You will solve complex problems, assist design teams, and collaborate with partners to produce our clients’ visions for the future built environment.

    This is a year-round paid opportunity that could lead to full-time employment upon graduation!

    Required Skills

    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, primarily Outlook, Word and Excel required.
    • Ability to commute to/from school to the office, and work in an office environment. No remote work anticipated.
    • Capacity to manage and maintain a sustainable balance between school, internship, and personal demands.

    Required Experience

    • Working knowledge of MicroStation, InRoads, AutoCAD and/or Civil3D drafting/design programs a plus, but not necessary. You will receive significant hands-on and tutorial training on any number of these as an intern.
    • Highly responsible and dependable
    • Strong written and oral communication skills
    • Strong problem-solving skills
    • Positive attitude and an strong work ethic
    • Ability to work with a team under the direct supervision of a Project Engineer or Designer
