    General Summary:

    COLSA Corporation seeks a Logistics Equipment Specialist to serve the USAF Rotary Wing Division customer at Robins AFB. The selected candidate will perform complex logistics support on policies and procedures to systems and subsystems, equipment procurement activities, project/program management tasks, and acquisition programs throughout their life cycles.

    *Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

    • Performs complex logistics support analyses.
    • Analyzes complex contractual documents, technical data, customer usage data, customer maintenance practices, customer operation characteristics, and related reports for assigned contracts to determine spares provisioning or maintenance/repair requirements.
    • Identifies, prioritizes, and assesses key logistics assets and infrastructures.
    • Develops logistics plans in order to enhance distribution of assets.
    • Coordinates some logistics elements, including but not limited to spares, support equipment, training, facilities, technical data, and provisioning.
    • Controls the flow of assets, services, and information between point of origin through receipt in order to meet customer requirements.
    • Ensures the execution and continuous improvement of logistics processes.
    • Develops policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure quality and cost control.
    • Builds relationships with suppliers and customers through the resolution of issues. ****

    Required Skills

    Required Experience

    One of the following combinations of education/experience:

    • * Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of work experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, three (3) of which must be in the DoD OR,
      
      • 16 years of directly related experience, five (5) of which must be in the DoD.
    • Working knowledge of desktop applications including word processing and spreadsheet. Experience with large databases preferred.
    • U.S. Citizenship required; Active Secret Clearance required.

    Other Requirements:

    Must be proficient with the systems/programs such as, but not limited to, REMIS, Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs), Aging Fleet Integrity and Reliability Management (AFIRM), Engineering Data Information Server (EDIS), Enhanced Technical Management System (ETIMS), Item Management Control System (IMCS), Joint Engineering Data Management Information Control System (JEDMICS), PubLog, Product Data Systems Support (PDSS), PDM Gateway, and Technical Manual Information System (TMIS). In addition, the candidate shall demonstrate proficiency in reading, interpreting, and researching technical data and product drawings.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Rotary Wing experience with military aircraft
    • Aircraft modification experience
    • TCTO experience
    • Technical source data packages experience
    • Acquisition documentation support experience
    • Familiarity with SORA and O&M budgets
