  • Responsibilities

    Assists General Manager to drives store performance through the development of all sales associates; providing an environment that promotes teamwork and excellent customer service; providing motivation and positive morale.

    • Motivates and inspires sales associates, through coaching, counseling and training, to excel in overall sales performance and customer service skills. Supervises 2 or more direct reports. 
    • Assists Store/Sales Manager to establish individual sales goals and manages accountability increase individual sales performance.
    • Ensures team environment by providing timely and consistent solutions to employee conflicts, concerns and policy/procedure violations in order to ensure positive employee relations and motivate the staff to achieve results.
    • Assists Store/Sales Manager to recruit and hire the best qualified candidates in order to develop a sales team that will attain store goals and achieve customer results. 
    • Motivates Sales Associates through development and implementation of exciting sales meetings, communications and sales incentives.
    • Provides timely and accurate communication to sales staff of all relative information necessary for the effective and efficient performance of their jobs.
    • Drives the performance of new programs, products and sales initiatives through positive communication, training and coaching. 
    • Solves customer service concerns by providing creative solutions that are in the best interest of the company while providing the customer with a satisfactory outcome.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Required Skills

    SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS:

    • Excellent and effective verbal and written communication skills
    • Great listening ability
    • High energy, socially-focused, people person with experience in a customer satisfaction environment
    • Detail oriented—Must be able to handle details quickly, correctly, and efficiently
    • Organized and able to assist in store operations and upkeep as assigned including: merchandising, sales and general housekeeping
    • Flexibility to work a retail schedule which includes evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events
    • Open to working on a draw/commission compensation
    • Prior experience using Windows-based computer programs
    • Bachelor’s degree in business (or related field), preferred (but not required)

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

    • Ability to sit, stand, walk, stoop, reach and move about the showroom regularly as needed.
    • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers.
    • Ability to use vision to read documents and computer screen.
    • Ability to use hands to type information into computer.
    • Ability to lift/carry up to 15 lbs.

    Required Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
    • Minimum two years of direct sales experience.
    • Demonstrated sales leadership.
    • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
    • Proficiency using personal computer and ability to master use of all Levin and Wolf systems applications.
    • Demonstrated ability to analyze information to determine successful results.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a timely and efficient manner.
