    This position provides the following support for the Armament Directorate, AFLCMC/EBV, Eglin AFB, FL. AFLCMC/EBV, has responsibility for providing directorate Personnel Security (PERSEC) support in IAW DoDM 5205.7, Vols 1-4. The Contractor shall apply knowledge and experience to support the execution of all aspects of acquisition program security throughout a program’s life cycle IAW all other applicable Government directives relating to SAPs, Sensitive Compartmented Information, and collateral security requirements.

    · This includes but is not limited to working with Government and program prime and subcontractor personnel to create a secure environment through development of sound security practices and policies regarding acquisition, physical, personnel and documentation security

    · Updating security classification guides

    · Preparing acquisition security related sections of acquisition program documentation

    · Reviewing Contractor deliverables

    · Evaluating program information and hardware throughout the program life cycle

    · Planning and implementing security-related surveys, assessments, and studies; and evaluating program security information and hardware throughout the program life cycle (to include studies, analyses, plans, procedures, production, test plans/results, transportation, technology, and storage of end items).

    · Support Government SAP Security Officer (GSSO), program managers, and employees with providing guidance, recommendations, and assistance in managing classified events and sensitive activities

    · Create and process Program Access Request (PARS) for personnel requiring access to associated programs IAW DoDM 5205.07, Volume 2

    Required Experience:

    • One of the following combinations of education/experience:
      • Associate's degree + a minimum of 10 years relevant experience
      • Bachelor's degree or higher in relevant degree field + a minimum of 5-6 years relevant experience
    • Active DoD SECRET clearance, within an investigation date within the last 6 years, is required, and the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD TOP SECRET security clearance
    • US Citizenship required
    • Ability to obtain and maintain a Level 1 Security Professional Education Development (SPeD) Program Security Fundamentals Profession Certification is required within 12 months of beginning support on this Task Order. Must maintain this certification during the remainder of support on this task order.

    Preferred Experience:

    • Active DoD TOP SECRET security clearance highly desired
    • Experience working with Special Access Programs and program security on DoD installations highly desired.
    • Experience working with JADE, JPAS and DISS highly desired.
    • Previous experience in providing security support in a weapons systems program office highly desired.
    • Current and active Level 1 Security Professional Education Development (SPeD) Program Security Fundamentals Profession Certification
