*Borrelli Steel Fabricators, LLC specializes in structural steel and miscellaneous metals fabrication and erection. Borrelli Construction, LLC specializes in the construction of pre-engineered metal buildings and pole barn structures. We are a family owned and operated business which has been serving the tri-state area for over 30 years. We are seeking an experienced CDL Class “A/ B” truck driver/ mechanic to join our team. Must be a reliable individual willing to wear multiple hats.
*We are seeking an experienced CDL driver with Truck & Equipment Mechanic skills to join our team. Duties will include making deliveries of materials and equipment, assisting with the repair, service and maintenance of company vehicles and equipment assisting with the repair, service and maintenance of company vehicles and equipment. You will be working on a variety of equipment including pickup trucks, flatbeds, dump trucks, tractor trailer, backhoe, skid steer, manlifts, forklifts, trailers, gas powered welders and construction equipment.
Required Skills / Responsibilities: •Pass a pre-employment screening including background check, drug test and physical. •CDL Class “A” or “B” driver’s license with air brake endorsement •Up to date medical card & clean driving record •Complete vehicle inspection prior to operation •Safely operate all company vehicles which include tractor and 48’ trailer, 26’ Flatbed, 16’Flatbed, 12-ton Dump Truck with 20-ton Tag-A-Long trailer. •Must be able to operate a manual transmission •Be capable of lifting 75 pounds, frequent stooping, bending, squatting, and kneeling. •Must have your own tools required to perform job duties. •Must be willing to work a flexible schedule •Must be capable of loading and unloading construction equipment •Assist in loading fabricated materials and equipment on truck or trailer •Safely transport company equipment and materials to and from the job site as needed. •Ensure company vehicles and equipment are kept clean and maintained as needed. •Follow all required safety protocols and guidelines while operating company vehicles and equipment. •Safely navigate through jobsite avoiding potential hazards Desired but not required: •Forklift experience a plus(will train if necessary) •Back-hoe, Skid-Steer, or excavator experience is a plus •Welding / fabrication skills are a plus.
