    Job Description

    The Deposit Services Specialist conducts a variety of daily tasks related to the deposit operations function, which include but are not limited to the servicing and maintaining of deposit accounts. This position will have a central focus on a set of specific duties within the Deposit Services team. Additionally, must conform to bank policies, procedures and regulatory compliance are a function of the department and the Bank’s strategic goals.

    • Process both incoming and outgoing wires
    • Internet banking enrollments
    • Electronic payments review
    • ACH processing and balancing
    • Positive Pay
    • Debit card order quality control
    • Review of account maintenance
    • Exception item processing
    • ODP/Returns
    • Check adjustments
    • Balances money order and official checks
    • All other duties as assigned

    Competencies

    • Strong organization skills and the ability to multi-task projects. Able to remain flexible and work within a changing environment as new challenges are presented
    • Proficient use of Microsoft products
    • Ability to complete tasks within established timeframe
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    Physical demands

    • Sit for extended periods
    • Manually operate keyboard, mouse and other personal computing devices and office equipment
    • May occasionally lift up to 20 lbs

    Travel required

    Travel outside of the designated office location is not required

    Required education and experience

    • High school diploma or equivalent

    Preferred education and experience

    • 2 years prior banking experience preferred
