    SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE

    This position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service by being well-versed in teller work and new accounts as well as handling transactions pertaining to loans, collections and/or exchanges. Serves as a new account representative and teller interchangeably on a regular basis.

    • HANDLES CUSTOMER TRANSACTIONAL NEEDS SUCH AS PROCESSING DEPOSITS, WITHDRAWALS, CHECK CASHING REQUESTS, CREDIT CARD ADVANCES, MONEY ORDERS, AND OTHER FORMS OF NEGOTIABLE ITEMS
    • IMAGES PROOF WORK THROUGH BRANCH CAPTURE MACHINE TO INCLUDE REVIEWING WORK AND MAKING CORRECTIONS
    • OPENS VARIOUS NEW DEPOSITORY ACCOUNT PRODUCTS AND SERVICES
    • WORKS WITH CUSTOMERS TO UPDATE EXISTING DEPOSIT ACCOUNTS
    • MAINTAINS A WELL-DEVELOPED, WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF PRODUCTS, SERVICES AND PROCESSES OFFERED
    • ACCURATELY UTILIZES EQUIPMENT AND REMAINS KNOWLEDGEABLE OF EQUIPMENT FUNCTIONALITY TO PERFORM ROLE
    • COMPLETES DOCUMENTS FOR SPECIAL REQUESTS SUCH AS DIRECT DEPOSIT, WIRE TRANSFERS, STOP PAYMENTS, ETC.
    • MAY ALSO PROVIDE ASSISTANCE TO LENDERS BY PULLING CREDIT BUREAU CHECKS, FLOOD DETERMINATIONS, OFAC/COMBINED REPORT FROM HORIZON AND CREATING CUSTOMER PROFILES FOR NEW BANKING RELATIONSHIPS WITHIN HORIZON

    REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    • HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR EQUIVALENT

    PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    • Previous teller and cash handling experience preferred
    • Previous new account opening experience preferred
    • Knowledge of Community First Bank’s products, services and policies
    • Knowledge of daily branch, vault and ATM operations
    • Maintain knowledge of compliance and regulatory issues as appropriate
