Maintaining the standard set-up for each Villa. This will be provided to you by way of an updated checklist from Head Butler/Assistant Head Butler/Senior Butlers.
Prepare Food and Beverage mise en place for the Butler Villas. This includes making suggestions for type of food and serving according to presentation standards to the guests.
Ensure Butler Villas are kept tidy and stocked with items as per checklist and according to standards (Updated information will be distributed to you by Head Butler/Assistant Head Butler/Senior Butlers.)
Ensure all standards in regards to receiving guests, assisting with luggage delivery, packing and unpacking, collecting and processing guest laundry, pressing and cleaning; turn down and farewell are met. Any deviations from the standard are to be discussed with Head Butler/Assistant Head Butler/Senior Butlers.
Ensure guests likes and dislikes are taken into account and entered into guest history folder regularly.
To plan and suggest activities for the guests and ensure they are well taken care off.
Required Skills
Maintain excellent five star service standards, including but not limited to, table management, front of house, concierge, housekeeping, excursions/activities, COMO Shambhala, or other related hotel departments.
Maintain excellent communication with all departments, following up and providing feedback to relevant parties to ensure that guest receives service that will exceed their expectations.
Ability to anticipate guests' needs
Any other duties that may be assigned by your manager from time to time.
Required Experience
A minimum of education at Diploma in hospitality and tourism or equivalent.
Minimum two to three years Butler experience.
Must be able to read, understand and apply directions to perform assignments, English
Second language, an asset.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to focus attention to details and be a team player.
Ability to remain calm and courteous with demanding/difficult guest/employees or situations.
Ability to be consistent in job performance and attitude.
A passion for the hospitality industry, especially for a 5-star luxury hotel.
