  • Responsibilities
    • Recognizes and greets all guests and team members providing exceptional and professional service.
    • Provides information and assistance to guests and colleagues regarding recreation facilities, as well as indoor and outdoor recreational activities.
    • Assists guest and colleagues with recreation equipment use ensuring proper sign-out/in procedures.
    • Explains and monitors safe use of equipment to all guests and colleagues.
    • Responds to first aid and emergency situations as required.
    • Provides food and beverage service as needed and directed by supervisor.
    • Attends to any guest complaint to ensure the guest need is met, dialogue with guest is tracked, and follows-up with leader
    • Ensures an adequate supply of towels, and other items are available.
    • Ensures cleanliness and organization of the recreation areas and ensures that equipment is maintained throughout the day
    • Ensures equipment in proper working order and reports any problems with equipment/services to leader
    • Ensures guests have completed the necessary activity waivers.
    • Ensures the provision of supplementary equipment for guests
    • Guest oriented with an outgoing, sincere, helpful, caring and friendly personality
    • Able to work well with others and independently
    • Able to take initiative within given guidelines
    • Pays precise attention to detail, order and cleanliness
    • Has exceptional energy, flexibility and professionalism
    • Has effective communication skills (verbal, listening, writing)
    • Comfortable working with computers
    • Have strong interpersonal skills

    Required Skills

    • Customer service in a five star hotel setting, preferred.
    • Well organized with good written and verbal communications skills.
    • Outgoing personality with excellent interpersonal skills and enjoy working with people.
    • Complies with conservative grooming standards as mentioned in our handbook
    • Able to multi task and establish priorities.
    • Proactive problem solver

    Required Experience

    • Minimum 1 year experience with luxury property or equivalent
    • Previous guest service experience in a hospitality related field is a strong asset
    • First Aid/CPR is an asset
    • Bronze Cross certificate an asset
    • Knowledge of indoor/outdoor sports (water sports) and related equipment required
  • Qualifications
