Full Job Description:

Borrelli Construction, LLC specializes in the construction of pre-engineered metal buildings, cold form buildings and post frame (pole barn) structures. We are a family owned and operated business which has been serving the tri-state area for over 30 years.

We are seeking an experienced construction laborer to join our team. The basic function of the position is to assist in the construction of pre-engineered metal buildings and post frame wood structures (Pole Barns). Must be familiar with commercial construction and property maintenance work including landscaping, metal stud framing, carpentry, concrete and masonry work.

We are looking for a reliable individual willing to wear multiple hats. All workers are hired on a 90-day probationary period after which they will be offered benefits.

Responsibilities Include:

· Assist tradesmen with carpentry, concrete, ironwork and other trades with their tasks.

· Construction site clean-up and property maintenance.

· Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of company equipment.

· Some landscaping, property maintenance, snow removal and site clean up.

· Light demolition work and removal of materials.

· Forklift experience a plus. (We will provide training if required)

· Pick-up and delivery of building materials.

· Operation of manlift, boom and scissor lift experience a plus.

· Attention to safety procedures and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.

· Attend and participate in all required safety training and Toolbox Talks.

Qualifications:

· Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills.

· Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.

· Ability to perform physically demanding work outdoors in various weather conditions.

· Prior experience working in the construction or landscaping industry.

· Must be reliable and have own transportation.

· Have a High School Diploma or equivalent.

· Pass a pre-employment screening including background check, drug test and physical.

· Have a valid and clean driver’s license. (CDL license is a plus)

· Must be willing to work a flexible schedule if required.

· General knowledge of hand tools, power tools and lawn maintenance equipment.

· Be capable of lifting 50 pounds or more.

· Must be able to climb ladders, stairs and into equipment as required.
