NetVU is seeking a strategic and creative content marketer to craft contextual, digital content to support digital marketing campaigns targeting independent insurance influencers and decision makers in a remote environment.
The ideal candidate has experience applying digital marketing best practices to emails, blogs, multi-media and social media channels. They will be responsible for executing a content strategy with the use of email subject lines, active language copy writing, and call-to-action. Experience with content creation targeting business related education and conferences is important.

This content marketing coordinator will support key marketing initiatives covering email, blogs, multi-media, and social media. Our ideal candidate is a creative marketing professional, with writing experience. You should be able to develop engaging content to attract and retain members.
The person in this role will gain broad marketing experience while building a strong foundation for a high-growth marketing career. Activities will include brand building & awareness generation, project management, operational execution, and corporate events.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Work with internal departments to build an editorial plan and calendar
- Design content marketing strategies and set short-term goals
- Collaborate with internal team members to produce high quality content across channels (email, newsletters, social, video, online, blogs, mobile, events), and monitor strategic marketing initiatives
- Write and edit engaging content for email, social, and blog on a regular basis, ensuring a consistent voice, highlighting impactful storylines and driving audience engagement
- Repurpose long-form content into smaller segments to use in email, social, and video
- Assist in managing the editorial calendar and ensure timely delivery of assets
- Manage content for website(s) and mobile app(s)
- Grow engagement across social media channels
- Optimize content considering search and social engagement strategies
- Own multimedia, visual marketing design, and content creation (videos and graphics for web and print)
- Evaluate, monitor, and refine campaign performance on an ongoing basis by analyzing key metrics and creating reports
- Receive member feedback and generate ideas to increase member engagement
- Other duties as assigned
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS & EDUCATION:

- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, communications, journalism or a related field
- Knowledge of various marketing and analytics tools, Google Analytics, CRM systems, and content management systems
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Experience with Adobe creative applications is a plus
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills
- Expertise in social media platforms
- Must be detail-oriented with the ability to establish priorities, work independently, handle interruptions and proceed with objectives without supervision
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent analytical skills and a knack for data analysis
- Skilled in creating and editing content with an attention to detail
- Strong prioritization, organization, time and project management skills
- Ability to travel as necessary
- High energy, positive “can do” attitude demonstrating flexibility and teamwork
PREFERRED:
- Knowledge of associations and the insurance industry.
- Understanding of the Entrepreneurial Operating System.
- Working knowledge of iMIS database or other database software.

- Ability to operate a computer.
- Ability to communicate via a telephone and in writing.
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle.
- Ability to periodically travel and stay overnight when required for company events (out of town or state).
- Ability to lift 15-25 lbs.
