  • Responsibilities

    Position Overview:
    We are seeking a skilled and hands-on Controls Engineer with strong experience in Allen Bradley systems. This role is ideal for someone who can take ownership of projects from concept to completion—writing programs from scratch, troubleshooting existing systems, and supporting clients both remotely and on-site.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Design, develop, and implement control systems using Allen Bradley PLCs and HMIs

    • Write programs from scratch and modify existing code as needed

    • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, mechanical, and controls-related issues

    • Support system startups, commissioning, and integration

    • Travel to client sites for installation, support, and troubleshooting (including occasional overnight stays)

    • Perform hands-on electrical wiring and assist with mechanical work when required

    • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to deliver custom automation solutions

    Required Qualifications:

    • Proven experience with Allen Bradley PLCs (ControlLogix, CompactLogix, etc.)

    • Ability to program, edit, and troubleshoot control systems independently

    • Strong understanding of electrical systems and wiring

    • Willingness to be hands-on in both electrical and mechanical aspects of projects

    • Ability to travel to client sites as needed

    Preferred Qualifications (Strong Plus):

    • Experience with Siemens and/or Mitsubishi control systems

    • Experience with Fanuc or other robotic platforms

    • Background in automation, manufacturing, or industrial environments
