As COOLA expands, so does the importance of our supply chain and distribution network. It is imperative that COOLAs Supply Chain team has the right people in place to ensure on-time, quality delivery through all phases of the product lifecycle from material sourcing to manufacturing, all the way through delivery to the consumer. The Supply Chain Coordinator will be a crucial piece to this puzzle as we continue to seek greater efficiency in our day-to-day operations. This position will report directly to the Operations management team.
The ideal candidate possesses meticulous attention to detail and has a keen eye for data and information quality. You will constantly seek to improve functions and processes and dont accept the maxim of doing something simply because thats the way its always been. You take the initiative to solve problems to the best of your ability in order to get projects to the finish line. Finally, you are a wonderful communicator and feel at ease partnering with many functional areas of the business, including fulfillment/logistics, marketing/creative, customer service, finance, innovation, and sales. This all culminates in the delivery of key company objectives, including but not limited to increased revenue potential, margin optimization, retailer satisfaction, innovation leadership, and delighted customers.
REQUIREMENTS
KEY FUNCTIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
Purchasing & Material Planning
Create & place purchase orders for materials & finished goods for COOLA in NetSuite
Troubleshoot manufacturing delays with suppliers & manufacturers with attention to price and timeliness
Understand inventory position of materials to escalate issues that might prevent the production schedule from being met
Find savings with suppliers by consolidating total material needs across the portfolio to achieve economies of scale
Identify & remove bottlenecks in the supply chain that could delay production
Review & improve supplier lead-times to allow for more flexibility & agility
Manage & update material supplier database
Collaborate with Accounts Payable team to close out POs & invoices
Liaison with our logistic partners to ensure expedient pick-up & system documentation
