    Our consulting and Global Audit-Ready™ support division is seeking to fill a Compliance Analyst or Compliance Engineer position. The successful applicant will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Currently this is a remote position, but expectations are that this position will work from the company office (El Dorado Hills, CA) at some point in the future.

    REQUIRED EDUCATION:

    • Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Computer, etc.)

    • Bachelor of Science in Economics

    • Two years of experience outside formal education

    • Prior experience in IT (database management, advanced Excel queries)

    DESIRED EXPERIENCE:

    • Electrical Utility Industry

    • Regulatory Compliance, preferably NERC

    • Database Management

    • Technical Writing

    • Microsoft Office products

    REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    This position reports to the Compliance Engineer, the Director of Compliance Project Management, or the Director of Operations. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Create and Identify internal controls, consider complains risks and develop procedures to ensure compliance with North American Reliability Corporation (NERC) standards

    • Maintain and validate Protection System Maintenance records

    • Develop or review Protection System designs

    • Create Protection System design database

    • Research new regulatory requirements

    • Verify that existing policies and procedures follow regulatory requirements

    • Set up content in Global Audit-Ready products and migrate evidence

    • Assist with mock audits

    • Develop training

We serve most all municipal utilities in the state of California and several other generating companies and utilities across the united states.
