Cornerstone Advisors is a national management and technology consulting firm offering a wide range of consulting services to meet the needs of the banking and credit union industries. We are seeking an experienced Consultant to work at our corporate office in Scottsdale, AZ. In this role, you will work directly with our clients alongside a talented team of consultants and directors in our Contracts Solution Group on projects from conceptualization to execution. The applicant must have excellent issue resolution and communication skills (both oral and written), as well as the ability to “think outside of the box” to tackle unique challenges our individual clients face.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Manage and drive day-to-day tactical aspects of projects over the life cycle of 3+ months

· Take a lead role in developing project plans and meeting deadlines

· Build and leverage internal tools in conjunction with both public and proprietary data as well as analyze results

· Create detailed and complex financial models based on client invoices, contracts, and surveys

· Develop, draft, and edit client deliverables

· Coordinate planning engagements

· Facilitate sessions

· Draft client communications

· Coordinate clients and vendor calls/meetings

· Manage multiple schedules

· File and track incoming documents

· Assist senior consultants as needed

· Special projects as assigned

· Issue resolution

· Work directly with clients fulfilling a lead contract consultant role

· Provide a high level of customer service (“white glove”) in response to client inquiries and requests

· Other duties as required and assigned

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

· Bachelor’s Degree in Business related field - Finance, Economics, or other quantitative focus or equivalent experience

· 3-5 years’ experience in an applicable field preferred

· Financial or banking industry knowledge preferred

COMPUTER SKILLS

· Required proficiency with entire Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel

· Proven experience using advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, nested conditional statements, and lookups)

· Internet search processes and research abilities

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

· Preference will be given to candidates with prior B2B contract negotiation experience

· Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple project priorities in a deadline-driven environment

· A high level of EQ

· Team player with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with all staff levels as well as work independently on complex projects and tasks

· Ability to interact professionally with clients in senior and executive management roles

· Adept and creative problem solver

· Strong analytical skills

· Must be able to work with constant interruptions

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Excellent attention to detail

· Ability to work in a fast-paced, high volume environment
