The Housekeeper / Kitchen Attendant is a self-starter who provides dynamic and flexible support to the Corwin facilities, while upholding the highest standard of quality and sanitation throughout the building. This position reports to the Director of Sales Support. RESPONSIBILITES - Continually evaluate, plan, and complete sanitization throughout the building, including windows, floors, carpeting, desks, bathrooms, warehouse, light laundry, kitchen, and occasional painting - Meticulously maintain high traffic area of the kitchen for cleanliness, including mopping, sanitizing counters and tables, maintaining coffee equipment and inventory, dishwasher operations, and filling vending machines - Maintain facility cleaning supplies including ordering and stocking of inventory ,and maintaining equipment to meet professional standards - Proactively support all departments for setup, preparation, and cleanup , related to meetings, events, and samplings - Continuously monitor and maintain supplies throughout facilities to include paper products/cleaning products - Demonstrate the highest levels of safety and/or operate company equipment in the safest manner - Effectively collaborate and communicate with team and other departments to exceed expectations - Proactively work to maintain entrepreneurial spirit in all day-to-day activities and functions - Proactively work to assist others in achieving Corwin's objectives JOB REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS Education: High school diploma Experience: Previous professional cleaning, housekeeping or custodial experience preferred Previous customer service experience preferred COMPENSATION - Hourly range for this position is $ 14.00 to $16.00 per hour - Anticipated 36 hrs/wk - Non-union benefits package for full-time work OTHER INFORMATION Special Information (Travel required, physical requirements, on-call schedules, and so on): - Qualified candidates must be able to lift up to 50; must be able to stand and walk for at least 8 hours per day - Flexible hours may be needed when meetings or special events occur - Ability to work occasional weekend Pre-employment drug screening and a criminal background check are required prior to hiring.
