    The Hampton Inn Laramie, WY is looking for an Assistant General Manager with an emphasis on Sales. 

    Job Description: 

    The Assistant General Manager is the second in command of the hotel and plays a key role in the overall success of the property.  The AGM will assist the GM in managing all operations of the hotel operations to assure optimum performance and continual improvement in guest service, employees, sales/marketing, property appearance, and profit/financial control. Organizes and schedules daily activities performed by employees based on guest needs and goals set. Assists in managing guest relations. Performs duties assigned by General Manager to develop efficiency and profitability in all aspects of property management. Assumes the General Manager's responsibilities when required. Assures 100% guest satisfaction. 

    In addition to operational responsibilities the AGM will be responsible for the overall sales efforts of the hotel. The primary responsibility we be achieving the hotel's financial targets. This includes participating in weekly revenue management calls, building relationships, establishing new accounts, maintaining existing accounts, acquiring new groups, current groups maintenance and follow up. 

    Job Requirements 

    Must have previous hotel management experience with a proven success in leadership of teams and guest service results.  Have prior experience with direct sales efforts and overall strong financial knowledge.  Have a least a high school diploma with a college degree preferred.  Have a valid driver’s license from the appropriate state.   Have a customer focus and consistently strive to deliver optimal customer and employee satisfaction for the hotel.
