Job Description

WE'RE HIRING A FUNCTIONAL MRP IMPLEMENTATION CONSULTANT FOR OUR IRVINE BASED CLIENT.  

6+ MONTH CONTRACT

SERVE AS THE SUBJECT MATTER EXPERT IN THE MATERIALS RESOURCE PLANNING IMPLEMENTATION AND VALIDATION FROM LEGACY/SPREADSHEET SYSTEM TO NEW MRP SYSTEM.  NEW SYSTEM IS TBD.

Successful candidates must demonstrate excellent organization, communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to communicate complex technical information to others. 

DUTIES INCLUDE:

• Analysis of clients' business requirements and objectives and working with them to meet those objectives
• Assist with and ensure Application configuration, implementation and data conversion
• Potentially train users in application use and/or configuration
• Assist clients in application testing and rollout
• Recommend business process improvements
• Analyze and specify application enhancements

Qualifications

BACKGROUND/SKILLS:

• Previous MRP systems implementation experience
• Familiarity with manufacturing environments required
• Excellent functional subject matter expertise in Materials Resource Planning.
• Hands-on implementation experience required
• Ability to work with users of all levels to determine current and future state, user requirements and how the client will utilize the new system, field mapping and possible training.
• Experience implementing or utilizing MRP systems required
• Strong problem solving ability
• Training and customer service skills
• Familiarity with large database programs
• Consulting experience in a technology field
• Strong manufacturing experience preferred
