In a CAREGIVER WRAP AROUND position you will work with children and adults who have intellectual & developmental disabilities in an afternoon respite program by:

• Participating in the daily activities of the program, supervising the participants, and implementing recreational activities.
• Providing personal care to participants as needed.
• Working with other staff in a cooperative, team environment.
• Completes required documentation as defined by the program or department.

HOURS OF EMPLOYMENT:

1. Monday – Friday 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm

(additional Caregiver hours available in our Community Respite program)  

PAY RATE:  $11.10

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• One year experience and/or education in Human Services preferable.
• Experience working with individuals who have developmental disabilities and autism.
• Ability to work independently and motivate others.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Must be able to meet all agency training requirements.
• Sitting, standing, walking, lifting over 50 pounds, pulling and pushing wheelchairs and adaptive equipment, carrying, grasping, reaching, stooping and crouching, and crawling may be required.
