SUMMARY

This position involves qualified plan administration for approximately 40 retirement plans from beginning to end. The Plan Administrator is responsible for accurately and professionally administering the plan sponsors’ retirement plans. This position also includes daily consultation with investment advisors, investment providers, plan sponsors, and tax professionals. The Plan Administrator will manage the assigned plans but will also be responsible for meeting all plan filing deadlines and plan requirements.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Prepare approximately 40 annual reports to include but not limited to:

· Employee Census Eligibility Calculations

· Nondiscrimination, Coverage and Top Heavy testing

· Employer Match and Non-elective Contribution calculations

· Reconciliation of plan assets and participant loans

· Preparation of form 5500 and applicable schedules

· Communicate plan information and report results to plan sponsors and plan advisors

· Manage assigned clients to ensure plans are administered in compliance with plan documents

· Relationship building through excellent customer service

· Miscellaneous client projects and assistance as necessary

QUALIFICATIONS:

· 2 years of Defined Contribution Plan Administration required

· Experience with Relius recordkeeping software is a plus

· Experience with daily valuation recordkeeping and posting of transactions is a plus

· Experience with Microsoft Office

· Professional attitude, communication, and writing skills are a must

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
